ఇండియాలో ఈ కామర్స్ దిగ్గజం అమెజాన్ ఎంతో పాపులర్ వెబ్ సైట్. ఆన్ లైన్ ప్రొడక్టుల సేల్స్ తో యూజర్లకు ఎంతో చేరువైన అమెజాన్ పై ట్విట్టర్ లో విమర్శలు వెల్లువెత్తున్నాయి.
ఇండియాలో ఈ కామర్స్ దిగ్గజం అమెజాన్ ఎంతో పాపులర్ వెబ్ సైట్. ఆన్ లైన్ ప్రొడక్టుల సేల్స్ తో యూజర్లకు ఎంతో చేరువైన అమెజాన్ పై ట్విట్టర్ లో విమర్శలు వెల్లువెత్తున్నాయి. ట్విట్టర్ లో యూజర్ల ట్వీట్లతో అమెజాన్ ట్రెండింగ్ లో నడుస్తోంది. హిందువుల మనోభావాలను దెబ్బతినేలా అమెజాన్ తమ వెబ్ సైట్ లో అమ్మే ప్రొడక్టులపై దేవతల ఫొటోలతో సేల్స్ చేస్తోందని ట్విట్టర్ యూజర్లు మండిపడుతున్నారు.
ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా అమెజాన్ బైకాట్ అనే హ్యాష్ ట్యాగ్ తో ట్రోల్ చేస్తున్నారు. #BoycottAmazon అనే హ్యాష్ ట్యాగ్ ట్విట్టర్ లో ట్రెండింగ్ అవుతోంది. ఇందుకు ఎన్నో కారణాలను ఉన్నాయంటూ అమెజాన్ ను తిట్టిపోస్తున్నారు. అమెజాన్ అమ్మే మల్టిపుల్ టాయిలెట్ కవర్లపై హిందు దేవతల ఇమేజ్ లు ఉన్న ఫొటోలను ట్విట్టర్ యూజర్ ఒకరు తన అకౌంట్ లో పోస్టు చేశారు.
నివేదికల ప్రకారం.. గతంలో అమెజాన్ ఆన్ లైన్ స్టోర్లలోని పలు ప్రొడక్టుల్లో ఇలాంటివి ఎన్నో వెలుగులోకి వచ్చాయి. షూలపై భారత జాతీయ జెండా ఉండటం, చెప్పులపై మహాత్మాగాంధీ ఫొటో, టాయిలెట్ కమోడ్ కవర్లపై లార్డ్ శివుని ఫొటోలు దర్శనిమిచ్చాయి. నిజానికి.. ఈ ప్రొడక్టులు ఇండియాలో అందుబాటులో లేవు. అంతర్జాతీయ మార్కెట్ లో మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. అమెజాన్ అధికారిక వెబ్ సైట్ Amazon.com (Amazon US) మాత్రమే అందుబాటులో ఉన్నట్టు నివేదికలు తెలిపాయి. ఈ వివాదం తెరమీదకు రావడంతో చాలామంది ట్విట్టర్ యూజర్లు అమెజాన్ తీరును సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికగా తీవ్రంగా వ్యతిరేకిస్తున్నారు.
హిందువుల మనోభావాలను దెబ్బతీసేలా అమెజాన్ తమ వెబ్ సైట్లో ప్రొడక్టులను డిస్ ప్లే చేసే చేస్తోందంటూ మండిపడుతున్నారు. దీంతో అమెజాన్ కు వ్యతిరేకంగా యూజర్లు ‘అమెజాన్ బైకాట్’ అనే హ్యాష్ ట్యాగ్ ట్రెండ్ చేస్తూ.. అమెజాన్ లోని తమ షెడ్యూల్డ్ ఆర్డర్లను రద్దు చేసుకుంటున్నారు. అంతేకాదు.. తమ మొబైల్ ఫోన్లలో అమెజాన్ యాప్ ను కూడి డిలీట్ చేస్తున్నారు. అమెజాన్ ఆన్ లైన్ ప్లాట్ ఫాంపై ఇలాంటివి వెలుగులోకి రావడం తొలిసారి కాదు. 2016లో కూడా ఇదే అమెజాన్ ప్లాట్ ఫాంపై.. దేవతల ఫొటోలను డోర్ మ్యాట్ లపై ఫ్రింట్ చేయడం అప్పట్లో వివాదస్పదమైంది.
